Our Story

We began our journey in early 2021, when the whole world was uncertain of many things. We stumbled upon the property by pure accident, with absolutely no plan on changing the life as we then knew it.
However, the moment we toured the property, we fell in love with it. The possibilities were endless!
And so the road to creating Gidget's started. After a whole lot of ideas came and went, we finally had our vision down on paper. The only thing we didn't have yet was the name.
Many names were tossed around but nothing seemed to fit. Until our beloved mutt, Gidget, looked up at us with her puppy eyes and it clicked....our store would be named after her! Now with the name picked out, the real work began for the planning and prep work to open Gidget's. And she has been a part of every step! Often she likes to go to work with us so when you stop in, there's a good chance you'll get to meet her!

Unfortunately, Gidget passed away 12/7/2022.
